I'm an 18 year old male, and have been having anxiety/ panic attacks for the past year.
Since then, it seems like a lot of times when i stand up, I get lightheaded for a second. It happens more often when I'm feeling 'down' and I expect it to happen before it does.
It doesn't happen as often when im feeling 'up' and I don't even think about it happening until after i've been standing up for a while and i notice i didn't get lightheaded upon standing.
Also, in the past year, to rule out anything physical when diagnosing my panic attacks, i've had numerous blood tests, an EKG, a cardio stress test, numerous blood pressure readings etc.
If they didn't find anything with those tests, then I wouldn't have low blood pressure right? I mean, they always said it was low.. but more of as in it's good that it's low because it's not high.
Am I just being paranoid?
It is common for someone suffering from low blood pressure to feel light headed or almost as if everything as temporarily become black for s second upon standing up, i myself used to have this when i suffered from low bp but a low bp is usually much healthier than a high bp & even a normal bp, only when you experience such syptoms as shortness of breath, actual fainting or rapid heartbeat & palpitations should you beome concerned. Why don't you invest in a home bp monitering system & for the record, so long as your bp is somewhere within the 90/60-130/80 range then there is nothing to be concerned about (although low bp does drop below 90/60, a reading of less than 88/58 would only be a possible cause for concern, i know this from extensive reading & personal experience)

is flaxseed meal interchangeable with flour in recipes?
I was diagnosed with Type 1a Diabetes (adult onset autoimmune diabetes). I'm a rare case where even though I was diagnosed at 18, I still have a honeymoon period (period where full insulin-dependence is not reached) so I am on a very low carb diet until my pancreas stops producing insulin fully.

I found a recipe on the back of an artificial sugar for sugar free sugar cookies. However, the recipe calls for flour. Would using flaxseed meal work the same as flour? Or would the cookies come out tasting awful?

try sugar free Jello with a bit of whipped topping, read the labels as some of the regular stuff is lower in carbs then the sugar free? don't know why but its true. Also sugar free pudding. you can buy sugar free pie filling and make a compote using sf angel food cake or graham cracker crust. good luck.
and the flax meal is not a good sub for flour as it is too oily. It is good to add to things that have flour as an added nutrient but it is not a sub.
